Bjørn Åge and I have put some thought into how to deal with gifts for our wedding. Since we are getting married in the States and going to live in Norway it is a bit hard to bring many things over here. We came up with a compromise to have an online wedding registry with some packable gifts for those who would rather give a tangible gift and then list some suggestions of items that we are planning on buying. If you would like to give money for some of those items, we would be very thankful (add a small note if you would like to help with a particular item ie. dinning room table, silverware. . ) Hopefully something will work for each of you. We are registered at Target.com and search Erin and Bjorn (there will be two registrations, pick the second one).
Some items that we would like to invest in are:
Bed costing 10,000 nok or $1,500
Couch and chairs costing 7,000 nok or $975
Dinning room table costing 5,000 nok or $750
Assorted kitchen items including: 2,500 nok or $350
silverware
dishes
baking dishes
mixing bowls
glasses
pots and pans
tupperware

Sooooo Lady Lundvik!!! =) What's the estimated price on that pretty shiny silverware of yours displayed so nicely on your blog?! .... Cause you know, I might just consider putting my dab down on those possibly maybe =)
By the way, if I must dare to say so in public - that is a very fine picture you have posted! Ai ai ai, good thing you're taken..... ;o) You know what I mean!
